Senior Software Engineer – AI Agents & LangGraph

We are an AI-first startup building intelligent autonomous agents tailored for diverse industries — from customer support to finance, logistics, and beyond. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in AI agent design, especially using frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain, to join us in pushing the boundaries of what agents can do.

As one of our early engineering hires, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape our agent architecture, influence technical decisions, and build scalable systems that interact intelligently and autonomously with real-world environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AI agents using LangGraph, LangChain, and related frameworks
• Implement advanced prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune agent behavior
• Collaborate with product teams to understand use-case requirements across industries
• Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and integrate AI into development workflows
• Develop APIs, orchestration layers, and backend services to support agents in production
• Ensure robustness, observability, and scalability of agent systems
• Research and integrate state-of-the-art LLM APIs and open-source models
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our engineering culture

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agent-oriented frameworks
• Proficient in Python and familiar with AI toolchains (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vector DBs like Pinecone/Weaviate)
• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and context management
• Hands-on experience with agent architectures such as ReAct, Multi-Agent and Supervisory workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable backend systems
• Comfortable using developer AI tools like GitHub Copilot and debugging LLM workflows
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced teams
• Bonus: experience with knowledge graphs, multi-agent coordination, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
